We just wanted to thank the Wharf team for making our wedding celebration such a perfect day. Working with Sonia, the event manager, was a key element to achieving this and making the day such a success. Her professionalism, organisation and patience really helped take the pressure off and ensure that all of our high expectations were met. Ray's great team, both in the kitchen, bar and restaurant provided an incredible level of quality and service. The food was simply delicious and the attention to detail ensured all of our guests received what can only be described as exceptional service. The wonderful location and cool decor really added the final touch to everyone's efforts in making our day so very special.

I think "team wharf" is exceptional. Nothing was a trouble, everything ran to plan and I think I can safely say that Caroline & Andrew were delighted with everything.

Evan ran the bar with great professionalism and Eric had his finger on the pulse and effortlessly ensured we all had a great day - he even chased me around with a glass of wine whilst I was chasing the guests to sign the book. Great awareness and observation skills – amazing and very thoughtful!

We can't believe it’s all over! The whole wedding day and evening was perfect and went so smoothly (very much down to the organisation of Sonia). Agron and the guys were lovely and attentive and made everything so relaxed, yet special for everyone, including the large number of children.

The whole experience from our initial enquiries at the Wharf, right up to the day itself made our preparations as stress free as we could have hoped.

We wanted an informal and relaxed day and from the outset Sonia emphasised the flexibility the venue offered, and totally delivered.

Both our daytime and evening guests have without exception been full of praise for the venue, food, service and staff.

I am writing to thank you and your staff for the excellent day and evening we had at The Wharf on the occasion of our daughter Clare's wedding to Sean on 30th January.

From start to finish everything worked so smoothly and to absolute perfection. Looking back now there is nothing that we know now that had we known then we would change.

Your staff were excellent and looked after us and our guests with a maximum of attention, a minimum of fuss and always a warm smile. The food served on the day was first class, particularly the lamb, and we have had many words of thanks and praise from our guests to their enjoyment of the meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and would be happy to recommend The Wharf as a venue for any celebration our friends may want to have in the future.

We just wanted to say the most biggest thank you ever for our wonderful wedding reception at the Wharf. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The venue itself looked brilliant and all our guests were commenting on what a great venue it is. The staff were brilliant and went beyond anything we expected. Even to the point where I had asked that the main doors not be open until the food was served and a member of your staff stood by the doors until the food was served. We did not expect the buffet to be served by your staff either - we thought it would be 'help yourself' so it was a lovely bonus to have that service.

Wow! What a wedding!! Absolutely incredible - thank you all so much. We couldn't have picked a better place to spend our special day. The venue was perfect, the food was simply stunning and the service was flawless. We have had so many phone calls and comments this week about how wonderful the food and service was and how it really makes all the difference to have it in a restaurant rather than a hotel. People have really been dazzled on how it's possible to serve that many 'perfect steaks'! Most of our guests were local so I'm sure you will be getting some repeat business out of it.

Nina and I would like to say a massive thanks to you and the whole team for the most wonderful evening.

The whole day was fantastic, and when we arrived, the Wharf looked fantastic. The food was just the same as we remembered from the tasting (i.e. superb) and the same goes for the wine. The food came out speedily which makes such a difference, and the attention to detail was terrific - father of the bride was in need to a glass of water (30 seconds later it was being poured!).

We spoke to Eric the next day, and he said that the team enjoyed the band as much as we did, which was great news.

Thank you for all your help in the build up to making our day go so fantastically well.

We will definitely come and visit again soon.

Tony and I would like to thank you and the staff for making our party such a success last Saturday. Many people commented on what a fantastic venue it was and the general opinion was that the buffet was excellent - my only regret was that I didn't eat very much as I was too busy talking to our guests! The staff are a credit to The Wharf and went out of their way to ensure that the event was a success - especially the barman, Will. There was never a queue for drinks at any time during the evening and he was very friendly as well as efficient.

I feel that I must express my gratitude to you for the superb and professional way in which you organised the Wedding Reception for my daughter and her husband.

You have the ability of creating a unique 'personal touch' which I consider is genuine and which no amount of training can ensure. I felt you always took a careful interest in each and every detail, throughout the whole 'arrangement process', and such we had every confidence in a successful outcome. Everything you promised came to fruition. As is inevitably the case there were a couple of details you had to check out; this you did promptly and never failed to inform us of the result of those enquiries with 24 hours.

Unfortunately, over recent years I have come to expect a poor or barely passable level of service when dealing with various service industries and outlets. It is all too often a common occurrence that any form of communication or complaint inevitably becomes muddled or lost in a hotchpotch of manager and subordinates engaging in a game of 'pass the parcel'.

It was such a delight to encounter someone, such as yourself, possessing obvious organising abilities complemented with the already mentioned 'personal touch'.

My husband and I would like to express our sincere gratitude for all the hard work you undertook to make our daughters Wedding day such a memorable success. All the guests enjoyed the welcoming and comfortable atmosphere of the venue, the quality of service and the truly delicious food.

Thank you for helping us to create a wonderful wedding reception on Friday 15th June. We had such a brilliant time celebrating at The Wharf. All of our guests agreed that it's a fantastic venue with beautiful views. The delicious buffet menu was highly praised, as well as the service from the friendly and attentive team who made the whole afternoon/ evening seamless and fun.
