At The Wharf, the first Wednesday of every month is Cuban Salsa Night featuring Palenke.
Fronted by "Queen of Salsa", Adriana Santana, Palenke has an eclectic repertoire which is passionate, dynamic and eminently danceable: from the characteristically hot blooded tempos of Cuban Salsa and Brazilian Lambada, the traditional folk rhythms of Colombian Cumbia and Dominican Merengue, to the latest Caribbean Reggae and universally popular Spanish style "Gypsy Kings".
You are welcome to dine or have a drink at the bar.
Entry is £5, including a beer or glass of selected wine and a great evening of music and dance. Diners go free.
The next Cuban Salsa Night will be in the New Year, dates to be confirmed in January 2009.
